What is the difference between bring up, raise and educate?
Bring up, raise和educate都是动词，都含有培养的意思。
1 `bring up'
当你抚养（bring up）孩子时，你照顾他们整个童年，作为他们的父母或监护人。
Tony was brought up in a working-class family.
托尼在一个工人阶级家庭长大。
When my parents died, my grandparents brought me up.
我父母去世后，是祖父母把我抚养成人的。
2 `raise'
Raise 可以用作 bring up，也是抚养的意思.
Lynne raised three children on her own.

They want to get married and raise a family.

The farmer raises (= breeds) chickens and pigs.

3 `educate'
